When is art fashion and fashion art? Join the Crow Collection of Asian Art for Adventureasia: Fashion as Artistic Expression from 10 AM to 2 PM Saturday, October 3.
Celebrate the theme of fashion in conjunction with the magical YEOHLEE: DESIGN FOR NOW which is currently on exhibition at the Crow Collection of Asian Art.
Explore the New York fashion designer’s exhibition and then create your own fashion items in a ‘paper fashion workshop’ using Yeohlee’s themes of Zero Waste and Hard Geometry. You can also try your hand at some inventive fashion origami. Additional activities include yoga, storytelling, music, and more. FREE. No reservations required.
Yeohlee Teng is an award-winning designer whose works are creating headlines in the art world. Her line of clothing is often considered more art than fashion. She is the 2004 recipient of the Smithsonian Cooper-Hewitt National Design Award for Fashion and her work has been shown in museums in New York, London, Paris, Los Angeles, Tokyo, Amsterdam, Berlin and Washington D.C. Her work is part of the permanent collection at the Metropolitan Museum of Art.
The Crow Collection of Asian Art is located at 2010 Flora Street in the downtown Dallas Arts District. Museum hours are 10 AM to 9PM Tuesdays through Saturdays and from 10 AM to 5 PM Sundays. The Crow Collection is closed on Mondays. For more information visit
